Last updated: 12 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SaafOps (“SaafOps”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and our food-safety compliance service (the “Service”). By using SaafOps you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us — your name, email, phone number, business and outlet details, and anything you send when you book a demo, message us on WhatsApp, or contact support.
  • Compliance data you log — the checks, readings, timestamps, photos, and notes your team records through the Service, and the audit reports generated from them.
  • Information collected automatically — basic usage and device data and cookies, including analytics (Google Analytics) used to understand and improve the site and Service.

How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and secure the Service.
  • To generate your records, audit packs, reminders, and alerts (including WhatsApp notifications you opt into).
  • To respond to enquiries and provide support.
  • To improve our website, Service, and customer experience.
  • To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, and messaging providers), each bound to use it only for that purpose, and where required by law or to protect our rights. The compliance records you create are yours; we act as a processor of that data on your behalf.

How we protect your data

We store your data with reputable cloud hosting providers and apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and compliance data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to meet legal or record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete data subject to those obligations.

Your rights

Consistent with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and may raise a grievance about how we handle it. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@saafops.com.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and Google Analytics to measure and improve site performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.
